Every year the US government creates a budget which spends our tax dollars, in return the citizens expect to be safe and be provided with a great number of services that are of use to most everyone. Therefore, it is important to ask, how hard can it be to protect the country? With this simulator we will take the actual budgets of all departments that have a say in security and move them around to find either a better (or worse) answer to the security question. The major agencies that deal with security include the Department of Defense with the Army, Air Force, Navy, and the ongoing war on terror, the Department of State with embassy security, the Department of Homeland security with Immigration and Customs, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Secret Service, along with the Department of Justice with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the terrorism task force, and the US Marshalls Service.
